I receive messages from my 9-year-old granddaughter on her LAIN only on weekends.

I sent a message and some photes,

I hope every time that she would be interested in them.

Last week I sent her some phots they were very colorful and large paintings.

While I was looking at them,

I thought my granddaughter would be surprised and happy to see these pictures.

She loves to draw since she was little.

先週、私は彼女にとてもカラフルな大きな絵の写真を何枚か送りました。

私はそれらを見ているうちに、

孫娘はこれらの写真を見て驚いて喜ぶだろうと思ったからです。

彼女は小さい頃から絵を描くのが大好きです。

夫も私も部屋に孫娘が描いた絵を何枚も飾っています😊🌼🌺

Sea of clouds. 雲海 1195

Takeda Castle, famous for its sea of clouds, is located in Hyogo Prefecture.

Several years ago, early in the morning in December,

I climbed the mountain where Takeda Castle can be seen in front.

It was a very cold day.

I waited there for a while and watched Takeda Castle floating

in the sea of clouds with many people.

It was a very fantastic view.

This was unexpected for us.

The other day, we saw the sea of clouds from the top of the mountain before noon.

It was a sunny day, but it had rained the day before,

and the mountain path and leaves were still wet.

雲海で有名な竹田城は兵庫県にあります。

数年前の12月の早朝、竹田城を目の前に望む山に登りました。

とても寒い日でした。

そこでしばらく待って、大勢の人たちと一緒に雲海に浮かぶ竹田城を眺めました。

とても幻想的な景色でした。

先日の山登りの日、私達は昼前に山頂から雲海を見ることができました。

これは予想外のことでした。

この日は晴天で、前日は雨が降り、山道も落ち葉もまだ濡れていました。

思わぬ自然からのプレゼントに私たちは歓声を上げました🎵

この日の山登りは、下見山行でした。

いつもよりも長丁場で楽しみました。

Rolling pebble. 石車 1194

“Watch out for the pebbles!”

The sub-leader at the back said to us.

There were many pebbles to scatter far and wide on the trail.

In some places, fallen leaves overlap.

A woman was climbing in front of me stepped on a pebble and almost slipped.

At that moment, she supported herself up with the stick she had.

She didn't fall down.

The pebbles on the mountain trail are called,"Ishiguruma.'"

If you step on it with your climbing shoes, the stone may spin and cause injury.

We climbed slowly and carefully.

「石車に気をつけて！」

一番後にいるサブリーダーが私達に言いました。

その登山道にはたくさんの小石が散らばっていました。

落ち葉が重なり合っているところもありました。

私の前を登る人が、小石を踏んでしまってスリップしそうになりました。

そのとき、とっさに彼女は持っていたストックで自身の体をささえました。

転ばずにすみました。

登山道にある小石のことを「石車」と言います。

登山靴でその上に乗ってしまった場合、石が回転してケガに繋がるおそれがあります。

私たちはそれらに気をつけながら、ゆっくりと登っていきました😊

ちなみに登っているときに石や岩などが落ちてきたときには

素早く大きな声で「ラク！ラク！」と言います。

「ラク」とは「落石」の「ラク」です。

Slow Jogging.スロージョギング 1193

Last week, I enjoyed gathering of friends.

They talked about their families, especially their grandchildren.

And they've kept up some habits for good health.

My friend's range in age is from mid-60s to nearly 70 years old at that day.

Only one of them had a job.

Their children live nearby or far away, including overseas.

I told them that I am doing slow jogging.

Because of I want to climb mountains I am aiming for.

先週、お友達との集いを楽しみました。

皆さんはご家族のこと、特にお孫さん方のことを話しました。

そして全員が自身の健康のための習慣を続けていました。

その日のお友達は60歳代半ばから70歳近くまででした。

仕事をしている人は一人だけでした。

友達の子供たちは近くに住んでいたり、海外を含めて遠くに住んでいたり。

私はスロージョギングを続けていると話しました。

なぜなら登りたい山々があるからです😊

ご近所のいつものウォーキングコースの

すぐそばにランニングコースがあります。

「近くて便利」が継続することに繋がっているようです。

最近、走っている方々が増えているように思います。

若い方々から私よりもお年を召した方々、

マスターズ等、競技に参加されるのかしら？とおぼしき方もおみかけします。

Cookie-cutter. 抜き型 1192

I have many kinds of cookie-cutters that I bought at Doguyasuji shopping street

near Namba subway station in Osaka City.

When my children were kids, we often used them to make cookies.

They are in addition to hearts, clovers, diamonds, and spades of playing cards,

a turtle, a pine tree, a ginkgo leaf, an autumn leaf, and a Christmas tree, etc.

When making New Year's dishes, I used carrots and daikon radishes to make cherry blossom and plum flower using cookie-cutters.

The other day, when I cooked dishes for friends,

I use cookie-cutter to make autumn leaves with red bell peppers.

The cookie-cutter of the ginkgo was for yellow bell pepper.

Dishes were lined up, and on the top of them, they were so beautiful!

Everyone cheered.

I was happy to see it.

大阪市の地下鉄なんば駅近くの道具屋筋商店街で買ったクッキーの型がたくさんあります。

子どもたちが小さかった頃、よくクッキーを作りました。

トランプのハート、クローバー、ダイヤ、スペードに加えて、

亀、松、銀杏、紅葉、クリスマスツリーなど。

おせち料理を作るときに、人参や大根を使って、桜や梅の花の飾りを型抜きで作りました。

先日友人方のお料理を作ったとき、クッキー型を使って赤ピーマンで紅葉を作りました。

銀杏は黄色のピーマンで型抜きをしました。

並んだ食事の上に、それらをのせるととても綺麗でした！

誰もが歓声を上げました。

私はそれを見ながら嬉しかったです😊

生のパプリカのまま抜型をしてから、蒸して、ほんの少しお塩を振りました。

パプリカは丸いので、どの場所で抜けばいいのか考える時間が必要でした😊
